A Visit to the Faroe Islands: A program idea presented to a BBC producer, inspired by the childhood memory of my grandmother's chanting of stories from the British school series, The Royal Readers. In the Faroe Islands, misty, distant, completing contradicting my idea of island landscape, I speak to Faroese, marvel at a different island reality, consider the British Royal Reader journey that carried me there, and chant poems inspired by the visit.
